Week of Oh Nine/ Twenty Four

Checking out some websites this week!

www.marcjacobs.com
Were you able to easily navigate the site?

• The site is pretty easy to navigate. The tool bar is on top and leads you to each individual page.
• Tabs drop down under each page title in the tool bar for further selection within a category

Did you get lost?

• I didn't get lost in terms of links, I was lost because of the link titles

How did you know where you were in the site?

• In the top left, there was a title indicating the page you were on.

www.nytimes.com

Were you able to easily navigate the site?

• The site is relatively easy to navigate, however the text is a bit small on the tool bar.
• The navigation was also a bit hard to differentiate from the actual text of the page
• Oh! There is also a tool bar on top to different links than the bottom, a bit confusing.

Did you get lost?

• Well, if one clicks on today's paper, the side bar links all disappear!

How did you know where you were in the site?

• The browser tab displays the location.
• As does the top of the webpage
